For an ‘arts meets crafts’ exhibition, students of Academy St Lucas in Boxtel worked together with artist members of Pulchri Studio in Den Haag. Together with student shoemakers Sharon Joosten and Neel Barten I wondered if it was possible to use my silicone skin in a real shoe. So we started experimenting and ended up with this pair of shoes, in which we combined the silicone skin with rough leather.
